HCC 360

On this edition of HCC 360, Laura Drake and Kate McClave visit from the Workforce and Community Education department of Harford Community College. WCE is gigantic, with a huge range of classes, camps, trips, etc. that are open to the community. Luckily, it's now a lot easier to figure out the right offering for you - and to sign up for it. 

Nursing is one of those career fields that just keeps expanding, and HCC is right there with it. On this edition of HCC 360, Dr. Ashley Meisel, Dean of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, speaks with us about the new Licensed Practical Nursing program and the many other health care offerings at the college. 

It's great being in the classroom, but sometimes you just need to get out and into the world to apply what your learning in real time. You'll do just that in HCC's Service Learning Program. Mohamed Bangoura speaks with John Donahue, Associate Professor of Anthropology and Sociology, about the Service Learning Program at Harford Community College.
 

Geospatial technology... It sounds a bit like science fiction, but it is part of our everyday life. Think city and urban planning, conservation, and maps of all kinds. Harford Community College has a degree in this on-demand field.
